Thomas Scott Palmer

Multimedia design student looking for an internship

I am a Multimedia Design student at Copenhagen Business Academy with Danish and English roots, focused on film, video, and visual storytelling. I am particularly interested in cinematography and the relationship between image, sound, and music, and how these elements work together to create atmosphere and emotional impact.

I work with video, photography, and visual design, and I am motivated by translating ideas and moods into strong visual content. I am currently seeking an internship where I can develop my skills and contribute within film, video, and visual production.

About me

I am an energetic, curious, and outgoing person who is naturally drawn to creative environments and collaboration. I thrive when working with people and ideas, and I enjoy the process of exploring, experimenting, and developing visual concepts into meaningful outcomes.

Alongside my studies in Multimedia Design at Copenhagen Business Academy, I work at Fabro and Broens Gadekøkken, where I am part of fast-paced, social teams that have strengthened my communication skills and adaptability. Outside of school and work, I spend time producing music at the studio Affiliated, where I explore sound, rhythm, and atmosphere. This practice has had a strong influence on how I approach visual work, especially in film and video, where I see sound and image as closely connected.

I enjoy working with UX/UI design and tools such as Figma, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I am particularly passionate about film, video, music, sound, and graphic design, and I am motivated by creating visual experiences that feel intentional, atmospheric, and engaging.

1. Collaboration with 1508

Projects

Throughout my studies in Multimedia Design at Copenhagen Business Academy, I have worked on a range of projects involving the design and development of websites and digital experiences. These projects typically include research, concept development, UX/UI design in Figma, and coding using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The work reflects a focus on creating thoughtful, user-centred, and visually engaging digital solutions.

Below you can explore some of my work.

This project was developed as part of my 2nd semester exam in close collaboration with the Copenhagen-based design agency 1508, based on a conceptual brief exploring Dankort’s role in the conversation around overconsumption.

The goal was to develop a finished website that translated strategic insights into a digital concept encouraging more conscious consumer behaviour. I worked with concept development, UX/UI design, and prototyping, primarily using Figma and VS Code to design and build the final solution.

The project reflects my interest in combining concept, design, and development to create meaningful and engaging digital experiences.

2. Soundwheel web design

This project involved designing and developing a website for SoundWheel that communicates the company’s identity and clearly presents its services to the intended audience. The solution was based on established web design principles and focused on creating a professional, engaging, and user-friendly experience.

The primary target group was HR and People & Culture professionals. The website was designed to introduce SoundWheel’s concept and encourage organisations to take the first step by booking a live session with Kristian, the founder.

The overall purpose was to communicate the value of healthy break culture in the workplace, and how SoundWheel’s experiences can contribute to improved employee well-being, engagement, and organisational performance.
